It gives me immense pride and pleasure to lead the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of this esteemed & prestigious Institution. The inherent skills of our students are being well nurtured by highly qualified faculty and hard-working staff in achieving goals & objectives of the department. Motivate the students to follow ethical values and to develop innovative technologies to cater societal needs. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program aims at giving the students a strong background in physical sciences, mathematics, and computational methods as well as the basic area concepts, such as electronic circuits, analog and digital systems, communications, electromagnetics, and control systems. There are lots of thermal, hydro and nuclear power plants in the country. They too appoint electrical engineers at various positions in Central government bodies like ISRO, HAL, BEL, BHEL etc. An electrical engineer can be employed in the design and construction of power lines, in the control and management of power stations, or in the design and installation of electrical systems and machinery, such as transformers, electric motors and power electronics.
